Liz graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in May of 2000. Following a running injury in 2003, Liz began Pilates and discovered how valuable it was to her then 24-year-old body. She completed the full STOTT Pilates certification in 2005 and launched the first MIDTOWN Pilates program. She worked eight years as a manager and instructor before diving into oneBody studio and focusing only on her Pilates education and training.
After attending several Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) Conferences, Liz joined the PMA organization as a member and a certified instructor. Her Pilates journey now includes several workshops and study from oneBody Studio Pilates, the McEntire Pilates Arcus training, as well as the Healthy Mom’s Prenatal and Post-natal certification.
When Liz is not teaching in the studio she enjoys running, volunteering at her children’s school, baking and training her new Labrador puppy, Piper Jane

I am a graduate of the Chicago High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. I completed my undergrad at Middlebury in Vermont as a Posse scholar. I began my Pilates training at oneBody in 2015 while a junior in high school. I studied with Nicky Taylor Steward for two years and completed my training in 2017. I have been teaching at oneBody for four years and successfully passed the PMA certification exam in September 2017.
After being exposed through my dance education, I immediately fell in love with Pilates. I love helping people reach their full potential and goals, both physically and mentally. I am currently back home in Chicago, applying to physical therapy school. My background in dance and Pilates, combined with Physical Therapy will allow me to continue furthering my skills in order to help others attain healthy, functional bodies.
